My story

Mellye (also called Mae) is a sweet-natured 2-year-old Great Pyrenees mix with a gentle spirit and a love for companionship. She does wonderfully with other dogs, cats, and kids, making her a great fit for a family with a lively household or other pets. Though she isn’t house or crate trained yet, Mellye is used to staying outside and enjoys having room to roam and relax. With her calm, friendly temperament and affectionate nature, she’s ready to become a loyal and loving addition to the right home—especially one that understands the needs of a working breed like hers. Mellye/Mae is HEART WORM NEGATIVE, UP TO DATE on vaccinations, and weighs 47 pounds.Mellye's Adoption fee is $115.50 plus taxDogs are $115 and puppies are $110 unless otherwise noted. All cats and kittens are $75.00 unless otherwise noted. Our system automatically updates adoptable websites every two hours. Feel free to email or call us with any questions you may have. Our contact number is 270-887-4175. The shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30-4 and is closed daily for lunch from 12:30-1. Adoptions are done on a first come first serve basis for owner releases. Strays have a wait list.
