My story

Meet Maxine! A beautiful brindle boxer mix, Maxine is just 10 months old. This sweet girl came in as a stray, so we don’t know what her history is. So far, she has been overwhelmed by everything that is going on, but seems grateful to be cared for. She is tolerant of handling but seems anxious. She warms up very quickly to people and wants to play but doesn’t quite understand how yet. The constant noise of the shelter stresses her out, and she would benefit from being adopted sooner than later. Here are some reasons Maxine may be the dog for you:-She is young and trainable! Maxine is only 10 months old and will quickly adapt to training. -She is the perfect size, at 42 lbs, Maxine will fit comfortably in the car or into most dog harnesses. -She will bond really closely! Maxine will likely bond extremely closely with her forever family. -She looks like she is wearing socks! Her white patches look like tall socks. -She gets along well with other dogs! Maxine is tolerant with all of the dogs she`s encountered so far.
