My story

Meet Ebony Ebony is a sweet and tenderhearted dog who is about 3 years old and weighs 8 pounds. She was an owner surrender with Ivory. She does have a warm-up period when meeting new people. Once she knows you will be kind to her, she loves to get attention and affection. Coming from the environment she was in previously, it is apparent that she wasn’t handled very much so she just needs time to trust and know that she is in a safe space. She gets along well with the other dogs at the rescue. She would do best in a calm and patient home without small children where she can acclimate to her new surroundings and learn to trust. She is a wonderful dog who just wants a family to call her own! She needs a yard that is secure and for at least the first few weeks, she will need a harness and leash until she knows that she can trust you. Ebony is at our rescue near San Antonio and a meet and greet can be arranged with an approved application. She is spayed, up to date on all shots, microchipped and her adoption fee is $325.
