Sammy

My story

Sammy is a three-year-old, 55-pound lab mix that was picked up injured by a shelter. From what they could tell, he had been attacked by another dog and had multiple lacerations and a fractured skull. He remained in the shelter for a couple of months, and by the time we got him, most of his injuries were healed. Sammy has been in a foster home since we got him and has done well with their other dogs and their young son. He is crate trained and house trained, and is sweet and calm. He’s had some trauma in his life, but he knows he’s lucky to be here, and we are hoping that we can make the rest of his life one filled with love.
