My story

🐶 Name: Subin 📏 Weight: 4.7kg (10.3 lbs) 📅 Age: 3 years old 👧 Gender: Female (spayed) 🩺 Health: Vaccinated and spayed, no known health issues 🐕 Breed: Pomeranian mix 🎨 Color: Cream / Beige 🧠 Personality & Socialization With adults: Subin is shy at first but very curious. She tends to stay near people and builds trust gradually. Once she warms up, she’ll melt into your arms. With kids: Calm and tolerant. She doesn’t get overly excited but is fine being around or touched by children. With other dogs: Excellent social skills. She greets politely and knows how to give space if the other dog isn’t interested. With cats: No aggression. She sniffs out of curiosity and then loses interest if the cat doesn’t engage. 🏡 Daily Life & Habits Potty trained: Fully house-trained. She can go on walks, use pee pads indoors, and even a grass mat on the balcony. Energy level: Low to moderate. Indoors she is very calm. Outside, she enjoys running with familiar dog friends but remains reserved around new ones. Separation anxiety / Barking: None. She’s quiet and independent. Touch & handling: She may flinch at first but once picked up, she stays cuddled in your arms. Leash walking: Subin enjoys walks and often leans against her person on benches. Car rides: Very calm in the car, no motion sickness. Escape artist?: She might bolt out of fear in unfamiliar situations, but stays within sight and returns quickly—especially in familiar areas. ⚠️ Aggression No aggression. If she’s scared or uncomfortable, she may give a soft growl or a warning bark but never shows violence. 🐾 Rescue Story Subin was rescued on the day she was scheduled for euthanasia at a rural shelter in Gokseong, Korea. She had spent over a year there with her sister before being saved just in time. She is a gentle and respectful girl, looking for a family who will give her the love and patience she deserves. Subin is the perfect match for someone looking for a quiet, affectionate companion with good manners and a soft heart. She’s ready to bring calm joy into your life — are you ready to welcome her home?

If you have any questions or would like to adopt SUBIN, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
