My story

Hi! My name is Snoopy and I’m at the Santa Barbara Campus. I’m a 4 year old male Chihuahua mix who is eager for a new home! Now I may not be the tallest pup in the pack but I sure do have a big personality to make up for it! I'm not afraid to let you know when I'm feeling excited, curious, or just want to chat. Originally found as a stray in Fresno, I made my way to sunny side Santa Barbara and I'm the perfect guy for anyone looking to add a pint-sized bundle of joy into their home. I get a little stressed in the hustle and bustle of the kennel (who wouldn't) but I'm a whole new dog once I get to stretch my legs outside. I absolutely love long walks where I can strut my stuff like the superstar I know I am. I'm all about living my best life and would love a person to share that with! I also love cuddling, giving kisses, and running zoomies around the yard. With a little patience and whole lotta love, I'm ready to be your loyal sidekick and take on new adventures with you! Interested in meeting me? Adoption Centers are open daily 12-4:30pm, closed Wednesdays. Adoptions are on a first-come first served basis. My adopters will receive a certificate for a free veterinary exam and our partners at Purina will provide a supply of food for my first few days at home.
