Meet Mango – A Blind Beauty with a Heart Full of Joy Don't let her blindness fool you—Mango sees the world with her heart, and it's a beautiful place! This plush-coated, purring sweetheart is a massively courageous bundle of joy. Born with microphthalmia (meaning her eyes are either missing or too small to function), Mango doesn’t just get by—she thrives. She’s adventurous, playful, affectionate, and endlessly endearing. From the moment you pick her up, Mango purrs instantly, soaking in all the love like a pro snuggler-in-training. She adores people and other cats, loves curling up with her foster family for naps, and when she's not cuddled up, she’s hopping, rolling, and pouncing her way through life like a tiny four-pawed superhero. Watching her wrestle is like watching a kitten on a mission—determined and full of spark! Mango is thriving in her foster home, where she's memorized the layout with ease—she knows exactly where the food, water, and litter box are, and can navigate her world confidently. She loves sparkly fuzzy balls, stuffed mice, and playing with her kitten foster brother. Her soft mews and excited hops will melt your heart every time. Since she’s still young, Mango needs to be adopted into a home with another kitty friend to socialize with, and she’d absolutely love to go home with one of her siblings. She’s wonderfully social and has met many adult cats and people, and would do well with older, gentle, and respectful children who can understand her unique needs. Her blindness requires a bit of extra care: just a gentle eye wipe and saline drops once or twice a day—no surgeries or other treatments are needed at this time. What she really needs is a home with kindness, consistency, and someone who believes, like she does, that life is full of possibilities. Mango is not just a kitten—she’s an inspiration.
