My story

Meet Marshall, a gentle 3-year-old boy weighing 43 lbs, who’s still learning that the world can be a safe and loving place. Shelter life has been overwhelming for him, and he tends to hang back, unsure of his surroundings. But even through his nerves, it’s clear this sweet pup wants to connect—he accepts treats gently, walks beautifully on leash, and gives little hints that he’s ready to trust if given the time and space to do so.Marshall is treat-motivated and already showing signs of progress. In playgroup, he was tolerant of a more energetic dog and even showed interest in joining in, though he wasn’t quite ready to fully participate just yet. A home with a calm, confident dog companion might be just what he needs to help bring out his playful side and boost his confidence.He’s not the type to push his way into your heart—but if you give him a little patience, Marshall will quietly and sweetly make a place for himself there. He’s the kind of dog who will blossom in a calm home where he can learn to feel safe and loved.
