YOU MUST LIVE IN BROWARD & PALM BEACH COUNTIES** Meet Maverick: A Resilient Heart with a Spark of Joy  There’s something truly special about a dog who’s survived the unthinkable and still chooses to love. Maverick, a charming little Chihuahua, was left in a cage, abandoned and forgotten. But this brave soul didn’t give up, and neither did those who saved him. Today, Maverick is healthy, grateful, and ready for a life filled with kindness and connection. Estimated to be between 7 and 9 years old, Maverick carries the wisdom of his journey in his gentle eyes and the joy of a second chance in every wag of his tail. He’s a compact companion with a few extra love handles—nothing that daily walks and nourishing food can’t transform into strength. And he’s already enjoying his new routine with a peppy trot and playful spirit. Maverick adores belly rubs and has a way of responding to your voice that feels like he truly hears your heart. He’s wonderfully interactive and carries himself like a polite gentleman, eager to share love without overwhelming you. He doesn’t ask for much, just a peaceful, loving home where he can be your loyal shadow and remind you, every day, that healing and joy are always possible. If you’re looking for a companion with a grateful soul and a spark of spunk, Maverick is ready to share his heart.  This dog's adoption fee is $450 to go towards their vetting (vaccines, spay/neuter, heartworm/Ehrlichia/Lyme test, fecal test, pre-op blood work, dental cleaning, and microchip as well as grooming if needed). They don't live in cages or crates (unless there is a medical reason to do so.) They are treated as family pets while in our care. * All dogs in our care are fed premium brand holistic food as well as supplements and vitamins specific to each dog's needs. We don't buy inexpensive bulk dry kibble; our rescues are fed premium wet food diets as part of a comprehensive rehabilitation program to ensure maximum health. .*All of our rescues receive complete quality vetting, including full dental cleaning with pre-op bloodwork, spay/neuter, vaccines, and grooming. Dogs in need of specialized medicine will be seen by specialists, such as full cardiac workups, and ophthalmologist visits, all suspicious lumps and bumps are biopsied, and every medical need is transparent to potential adopters. *Once you adopt from Get a Life Pet Rescue, you become part of our compassionate family, and we are here for you if a problem with your precious dog arises. ##2458284##
