My story

Ga-leanda, just like her namesake from Wicked, Ga-leanda is the good witch you didn’t know you needed in your life! This bright, active, and utterly charming mystery mix (maybe a dash of Yorkie and a whole lot of cuteness) is 15 pounds of spunk, sweetness, and sparkle. Ga-leanda is house-trained, attentive, and always aware of what’s going on around her. She has that classic terrier spirit — intelligent, bold, and full of curiosity — and she’s happiest when she’s part of the action. Whether she’s chasing a breeze in the yard, exploring a new trail, or snuggling up after a busy day, she brings energy and joy to every moment. She gets along well with other dogs and would thrive in a home that appreciates her clever mind and playful heart. Ga-leanda is the perfect blend of lively companion and loyal cuddle buddy — all wrapped up in a 15-pound body and a heart that’s 100% love. Ready to add a little magic to your life? Ga-leanda is waiting to cast her spell on you! Ga-leanda will require combing and regular grooming and has done well for the groomer.  Sadly, Ga-leanda came to us with Zeus because their owner passed away at a young age.  They are not a bonded pair.  The adoption range for this dog is limited to NC, SC, VA and East TN. If you are interested in adopting this dog, contact h2hadoptions@gmail.com. There is an application process and adoption fee. WE REQUIRE AN ALL-ADULT HOME WITH A SECURELY FENCED YARD.  The secure fence must be at least 4 feet or higher with gaps no larger than 3 inches and attached to the home.  An invisible fence, enclosed patio or terrace without grass, temporary fencing, dog pens or dog lots or community shared fencing (dog park) are NOT considered secure fencing. If your fencing has "puppy pickets" (or is supplemented with garden fencing), it needs to be at least 36 inches high from the ground up AT THE LOWEST POINT. No exceptions. We are an all-volunteer organization, and in addition to saving dogs, we have other responsibilities, so we appreciate your patience and understanding during this process. Response time can take up to 5 business days. Please inquire only if you are willing to come to Greensboro, NC to meet the dog after we schedule your home visit. We do not ship dogs or put them on transports. Veterinary Care: All Hart-2-Heart Rescue foster dogs are spayed/neutered, current on heartworm prevention, parvo/distemper, bordetella, and rabies vaccines, and are professionally groomed. As needed, our foster dogs have teeth cleanings, extractions, bloodwork and other diagnostic testing. Adoption fee: $350July 12, 2025, 12:20 am

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Ga-leanda, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
