He came dangerously close to losing his life, landing on the euthanasia list at a crowded shelter. Luckily, he was saved just in time and is now safe, thriving, and ready for a new beginning. Redbone Hounds are known for their sweet temperament, soulful eyes, and melodic “hound song.” Bred for tracking and hunting in the American South, they’re athletic, intelligent, and incredibly loyal. Storm already shows those classic Redbone traits—he’s curious, affectionate, and eager to bond with his people. He loves to play, explore, and be around other dogs.
