My story

Maraday is currently located at the EAC in Westminster (10460 Town Center Dr, Westminster, CO, 80021) and can be visited from 10am-6pm Sat/Sun and 12pm-8pm Mon-Fri! Email our EAC team at EAC@savinganimalstody.org for more information! Maraday: A Devoted Mama ready to shine on her own Meet Maraday, a graceful and resilient young black-and-white lady who has just wrapped up the most important job of her life: raising her seven wild and wonderful kittens. After making the long journey from Texas to Colorado when her babies were still tiny, Maraday poured every ounce of her energy, love, and care into her first—and last—litter. Motherhood wasn’t easy. Feeding and watching over so many little mouths was a lot for one young cat to handle, but Maraday never gave up. With the help of kind humans and her own quiet strength, she raised a healthy, playful bunch of kittens full of life and confidence. Now that her babies are growing up, Maraday is finally getting the chance to be just Maraday—not just “Mom.” And what a lovely cat she is. Still a bit cautious from all she’s been through, Maraday may flinch at fast movements, and at the moment, does NOT like to be held...but she’s learning quickly that gentle hands bring nothing but love. She enjoys rubbing against her humans, leaning into soft scritches, and watching her kittens’ antics from a dignified distance. She’s deeply caring—often making sure the little ones have eaten before she takes her turn—and a model of patience and quiet resilience. Maraday has excellent litter box habits, a healthy appetite, and a calm, gentle presence. She’s a survivor, a nurturer, and a cat just beginning to discover her own joy. Whoever brings Maraday home will be lucky enough to watch a shy but loving spirit blossom into a loyal companion.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Maraday, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
