My story

William is an Alaskan Husky with striking good looks and a heart full of potential. He was pulled from the South LA shelter after catching the eye of someone on our team who just knew we had to save him. And we’re so glad we did—because this boy is truly one of a kind. Despite being a husky, William is incredibly quiet—his foster says she’s only heard him bark once! He’s food-motivated (okay, very food-motivated—watch your plate!) and super smart. He already knows sit and shake—especially when there are treats involved—and is picking up new rules and routines with ease. He genuinely wants to please and thrives with structure. William loves walks, fetch, and all kinds of playtime, but he’s also good at chilling out and being respectful of the home. He’s been great with kids, mostly choosing to ignore them politely, and he’s doing well with a slow introduction to the household cat. He’s also shown he can be calm and non-reactive around dogs and cats with careful intros. This sweet, trainable boy would thrive in a home that can offer him consistency, enrichment, and love. Whether you’re looking for an adventure buddy or just a calm, well-mannered companion—William might be the perfect match. 💙 Neutered, vaccinated, and ready for his forever home 🐾 Good with kids, needs slow intro with pets 🎾 Loves treats, toys, and fetch 🦴 Quiet for a husky and eager to learn William is ready to start his next chapter—will it be with you?

If you have any questions or would like to adopt William, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
