My story

Meet Bunnie! 🐰 Like her namesake, Bunnie is a sweet, soft, and energetic girl who loves to bunny kick any toy in sight. Right now her favorite is a catnip banana 🍌, but she'll play with anything you give her! Even though she is 2 years old, she has BKE (Big Kitten Energy) and is often zooming from one end of her space to another, but give her time and she’ll lay next to you and purr away while you work on your laptop. Bunnie is an ideal cat for a family with kids who would love an enthusiastic playmate or a home ready to give her a lot of playtime and attention. She’s done well with other cats (with proper introductions, of course) and while she gave the resident dog a little puff at first, she mostly minds her business. After raising a whole litter of kittens like a champ, Bunnie is finally ready for her turn to be spoiled. All adoptable cats have received: Spay/neuter surgery Distemper vaccine Rabies vaccine (if over 16 weeks old) De-wormer and flea prevention medication Veterinary exam Test for FIV and FeLV Microchip ADOPTION PROCESS 1. Review our adoption contract and application. 2. Call your vet and references to inform them that a rescue representative will be calling. 3. Submit an application, including the cat's name that you are interested in or description of what you are looking for. If approved, you will be introduced to the foster to schedule a meeting within 5 days. Guidelines for the meeting are: - Bring a carrier and be prepared to take the animal home directly from the meeting. - Please be prepared to submit the adoption fee via electronic payment at the meeting. - If all goes well, the cat will go home with you directly after the meeting. If you are not ready to adopt at the conclusion of the meeting, please understand that we may process other applications for the cat. Because we have a limited number of foster homes, we cannot hold cats past adoption. 6.
