My story

Meet Dean! Dean is a mildly shy young cat who may take a little time to warm up, but once he trusts you, he’s ready to play. Friendly and gentle, Dean enjoys pets and especially loves a good chin scratch. His favorite activities include chasing the laser light and batting at wand toys—he’s always up for a fun game once he feels comfortable. A healthy eater with a love for treats and wet food, Dean is independent by nature. He isn’t overly demanding of attention, but he’ll seek out affection when he’s in the mood. He’s happy to find his own cozy spot to relax and rarely makes a peep—except at mealtime, when he’ll remind you it’s time to eat! Dean is also very sociable with other cats. He plays the role of big brother to four lively kittens, patiently observing their antics and joining in when the moment feels right. Overall, Dean is a gentle, fun-loving companion who would thrive in a home with a friendly resident cat—or better yet, adopted alongside one of his kitten siblings. Dog sociability: Yes, with proper introduction! Cat sociability: Yes, with proper introduction! Kid sociability: Yes, with proper introduction! Likes: Laser light, playing with siblings, scratches under the chin. Dislikes: He's not super fond of being smothered, but he likes being picked up and talked to! The adoption fee is $150. All cats are up to date on vaccines, spayed/neutered, and microchipped.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Dean , please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
