My story

Atmos was recently brought to Operation Kindness as part of our disaster response efforts following the Central Texas flooding. Atmos is a mellow and affectionate adult cat currently dealing with upper respiratory concerns and in need of a calm foster home to help him recover. Even while feeling a bit stuffy, Atmos still enjoys quiet companionship and cozy spots to curl up in. With a little patience and some loving care, he’ll be back to his healthy, charming self and ready for adoption. Fostering Atmos means giving him the comfort and support he needs to heal and thrive. Foster Reason: Upper Respiratory Infection (URI) & Recovering from Dental Foster Time Frame: 2 weeks (The foster time frame could be longer depending on future medical results and needs.) Foster Care Plan: Atmos is currently being treated for an upper respiratory infection, which is similar to a common cold. Since he may be contagious to other pets, we strongly recommend keeping him in a separate, dedicated space such as a spare bathroom or bedroom until she he fully recovered. He will go to her foster home with medication, and once his treatment is complete, he will be ready for adoption. Foster to Adopt: Atmos is available for our Foster to Adopt Program, which allows pets to be placed with prospective adopters before they become available for adoption.
