My story

Meet Peanut, a feline friend who's full of life and love. Peanut has a playful spirit that's contagious. She's not just any cat, she's a mama cat, nurturing and caring, always ready to provide comfort. Peanut's friendly nature shines through in her interactions, always eager to make new friends. She loves being petted, her purrs a testament to her contentment. A true lap cat, she enjoys nothing more than curling up in a warm lap for a cozy nap. But what makes Peanut truly special is her ability to bring joy and warmth into any home. Her playful antics are sure to brighten your day, while her affectionate nature provides a comforting presence. Adopt Peanut, and let her fill your home with love, laughter, and lots of purrs. You may have noticed that there is a health waiver flag in her file. This is due to a suspected seizure back on 6/13/25. There has been no further seizure activity. However, our adoption consultant will discuss this event in depth with Peanut's adopter to ensure that they have all needed details and can answer any questions. The shelter is open Tuesdays through Fridays 3:30-6:30pm AND Saturdays & Sundays 1pm-4pm. No appointments are needed during those times. If you are not available during those times, special arrangements for a meet and greet may be able to be arranged by emailing arfcats@bereaanimalrescue.com.
