My story

Who is that diva in the sunglasses? That’s Prince (charming), and he is ready to strut in a fashion show with you! Prince is a sweet and loving young pup who’s still learning to navigate the world around him. Though a little anxious in the shelter environment, Prince has shown he`s eager to connect with people and is quick to show affection once he feels comfortable. He knows his basics — “sit,” “paw,” and “stay” — and is always ready to learn more, especially when there’s a kind human guiding him! When it comes to affection, Prince is a total cuddlebug but, he appreciates calm and consistent interactions! Prince has also shown great potential in dog socialization! When meeting another dog, he displayed polite manners, friendly body language, and even joined in for some playful wrestling. He reads social cues well and would likely enjoy a canine companion who shares his playful yet respectful style! If you have a resident pup at home, bring them by for a meet and greet to ensure compatibility! Prince would thrive in a patient, loving home that can give him the structure and comfort he needs to fully blossom! If Prince sounds like the pup for you, come meet him today! This pet is eligible for an Adoption Audition! What is an Adoption Audition? It’s a 5-day, no-strings-attached, trial adoption period. You can take this pet home to try it out! Interested? Come to the shelter any time during open hours and talk to one of our Customer Care staff! Be sure to check the `shelter information` box on the listing to see if the pet is located at our Fairfax Campus (4500 West Ox Road, Fairfax) or our Lorton Campus (8875 Lorton Road, Lorton). Then, come in during our open hours!
