My story

Meet Boy – Your New Best Friend! Age: Young | Temperament: Sweet, Smart, SnugglyBoy is the total package—a lovable pup with a heart of gold and the manners to match. After a Doggie Day Out packed with snuggles, park strolls, and kid-friendly fun, we can confidently say: this boy is something special. From the moment he stepped out, Boy impressed us with his gentle and friendly nature. Indoors, he was calm and well-mannered—no counter surfing, no anxious pacing, just a happy pup who settled right in with cuddles and kisses. He’s a treat-motivated smarty who already knows “sit” and is eager to keep learning. Bonus: he gives the best puppy snuggles and happily dozed off for a quick nap after some play.At the park, Boy met children ages 6 to 12 and was a natural—gentle, calm, and respectful. He wagged his tail, offered kisses, and let them pet him with ease, even helping a nervous child warm up to him. He greeted strangers with happy tail wags, never jumped or barked, and was easily redirected when curious about squirrels or other dogs.Boy also did fantastic at a local café—relaxed, polite, and focused on being a cuddle bug instead of begging for food. When it was time to go, he hopped into the car on his own and rode like a pro.Boy is the perfect balance of puppy energy and mellow charm. He’d thrive in a home ready to continue his training and shower him with the love and structure he craves. If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate, and smart pup to be your everyday adventure buddy and loyal snuggle companion, Boy is your guy.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt BOY, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
