My story

DOB 12/15/23  Hi, my name is Butters, and man—I’ve had a rough start in life. I was found in pretty bad shape, needed my tail amputated, and spent months healing from a severe hip injury. But thanks to Dallas Cat Lady and my foster mom, I’m finally ready for adoption!  Okay, let’s get the boring stuff out of the way first: I’ll probably always have some hip issues that need to be monitored as I grow older. But enough of that—let’s talk about the fun stuff! I’m still just a kitten, and I LOVE to play, climb, and zoom around the house like a little rocket. I make friends easily (what can I say, I’m adorable—people and pets just love me). My favorite thing is chasing my buddies around nonstop—I’ve got a lot of energy saved up from being stuck in recovery for so long!  I also love sitting in windows and watching the world go by. It brings me so much joy and keeps me entertained throughout the day. Oh—and I’ve got thoughts, and I’m not shy about sharing them. My foster mom says I’m a “chatty kitty,” but honestly, I think I’m just expressive. (Wink wink.) Even though I’ve been through a lot in my short life, I’ve never lost my playful spirit. I’m looking for a forever home with friends, space to run and explore, windows to lounge in, and of course, a few treats here and there.  Can’t wait to meet my new family!
