My story

Good things really do come in small packages. Ayla is available to foster or adopt in Georgia. We can bring her to Illinois for the right adopter. At just 10 months old and 27 lbs, Ayla is a pint-sized Husky/Aussie mix with a big personality. She and her siblings were surrendered to an overcrowded shelter, where dogs like her are often out of time before they ever get a real chance. But Ayla beat the odds—and now, she’s ready to find the forever home she’s been waiting for. She’ll spin herself into dizzy little circles just to make you laugh, then stare at you with those cross-eyed “did you see that?” looks. She’s full of spunk and sass in the best possible way. Belly rubs? Non-negotiable. That’s the friendship tax. Grooming? She’s a total diva—in the cutest way. She loves to be brushed and pampered. Size? Pocket-adjacent. You could sneak her just about anywhere, and she’d soak up the attention. She’s playful with other dogs, has great energy for walks and zoomies, but also knows when to settle in and snuggle.
