My story

Do not be deceived by that wrinkly forehead-- Dill Dip is a cute young pup of about 8 months. He is playful, happy, outgoing, fun-- all the qualities you hope to see in a pup this age. We do not know his backstory; Dill was picked up as a stray and brought into Chicago Animal Care and Control. We are always so sad to see an energetic young dog in a small portable kennel, which is where he was due to CACC being constantly out of kennel space. When Dill Dip came off the transport van after arriving at Heartland, he was ready to stretch those legs and party! He quickly made so many new besties, both human and dog! Dill is amazing with other dogs. Despite his age, he is not a rowdy player at all! He doesn't mind being around them, though-- he can fit in anywhere. We love his demeanor, he immediately puts other dogs at ease and is so sweet with people. This is a special quality! He really is such a special dog. We hope you will come and meet him soon! Dill Dip’s adoption fee is $300. This animal is neutered, up to date on core vaccines, and Heartworm negative.
