My story

Hi, I’m Texa! I’m a sweet, gentle soul with a heart full of love and a quiet charm that shines once you get to know me. I can be a little shy at first, but give me a bit of time and patience, and I’ll blossom into the most loyal, affectionate companion you could ever ask for. I adore being close to my humans—snuggling up for pets is one of my favorite things in the world. When I want attention, I’ll gently rub my head on you and give you the softest puppy eyes you’ve ever seen—it works every time! I soak up affection like a sponge, and in return, I’ll shower you with quiet loyalty and companionship. I’m wonderful with other dogs and enjoy spending time with canine friends. Whether we’re playing or just lounging nearby, I’m easygoing and polite. At home, I’m calm, well-mannered, and non-destructive—I don’t chew on things I shouldn’t, and I don’t bark unnecessarily. I know how to relax peacefully on my own when playtime is over and the house gets quiet. I'm also very smart and eager to please, which makes training a fun and rewarding experience for both of us. I love engaging my brain with treat puzzles and snuffle mats—they're some of my favorite ways to stay busy and happy. I’d thrive in a home where I can keep learning and growing with someone who enjoys interactive play and bonding time. I'm definitely a girl's girl—I tend to bond closely with my people and love being part of the action (or the cuddle pile). I dream of a forever home where I can feel safe, loved, and included in your daily life.
