My story

  Kobe is the total package—affectionate, cuddly, and full of love. This foxy little guy adores being close to his people, whether he’s curling up for a cozy nap or following you from room to room just to keep you company. If you’re looking for a constant companion with a big heart, Kobe might be your perfect match. He’s currently living happily with both a dog and a cat, and he’d likely thrive with a furry friend in his forever home. That said, he’d also be perfectly content as your one and only—he just wants to be loved! He enjoys playing tug-of-war with his dog buddy but is equally happy entertaining himself by tossing toys in the air and chasing them around. Kobe settles beautifully into a routine and is great at letting you know what he needs. He sleeps soundly in his crate at night—often putting himself to bed—and does wonderfully when left home alone. With a little patience and love, he adjusts quickly and fits right into the flow of the household. Walks are one of Kobe’s favorite things—he’d pick a stroll over yard time any day. He gets so excited when the leash comes out that he does a happy little spin at the door! He’s always up for an adventure, especially if it involves chasing squirrels. Kobe would do best in a calm, loving home where he can feel safe, appreciated, and part of the family. Whether he’s romping around with a buddy or curled up by your side, he’s sure to bring joy to your life every single day. Adoption fees are as follows, plus tax: $150 for large adult dogs (older than 1 year); $250 for small dogs (under 25 lbs) and all puppies (under 1 year); $60 for adult cats (over 6 months of age), $100 for kittens (under 6 months of age), and $25 for small animals. When you adopt a pair of kittens together, the total adoption fee is $150.  PAWS, the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society is a 501(c)3 non-profit animal rescue organization dedicated to saving Philadelphia's homeless and at-risk animals.
