My story

Ready for a little spring island hopping? Well, meet Aruba! Aruba came to CCHS from a local farm with his 5 siblings, Bahama, Bermuda, Jamaica, Key Largo and Montego. They are 9 week old Heeler mixes (estimated DOB 2/14/25). These kids are so sweet and friendly, they are bound to be best friends with you in no time at all! They all have short-haired tri-color coats (black, tan and white). Being Heelers they are smart puppies, too, ready to start training on how to grow up to be a good dog right away. With any rescue, training and socialization are incredibly important to the success of the pup. Adoption applications can be filled out at CCHS or online through our website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. Applications are not first come, first served. All applications will be reviewed by the adoption committee and the home chosen will be the one considered to be the best match. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Ehrlichiosis. Dogs and puppies will be spayed or neutered before adoption.CCHS is proud to be a No-Kill Humane Society. As a private, non-profit charity, our work depends on donations and volunteers to keep going.
