My story

Say hello to the darling 7 year old Durango. Durango is not a big boy at all, only weighs 33 pounds. He arrived at the shelter as a lost boy on 6/29. He does have a micro-chip but his people did not come. He is being a very good boy during his visit to the shelter. He will sit for treats and takes them gently from your fingers. He has the sweetest face and that face is begging for you to take him home with you. He would love to be your new walking buddy. You will find Durango waiting in run 803 and his ID# is 11527. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
