Katydid is located near Jackson TN and is available for transport. - Are you looking for a dog who’s equal parts athlete, cuddlebug, and amateur detective? Then allow us to introduce Katydid—a 1 year old black Shepherd mix with the curiosity of Sherlock Holmes and the zoomies of a caffeinated toddler. - Katydid didn’t just get her name because it’s cute (though, obviously, it is). She got it because she’s always doin’ stuff. Sniffing mysterious corners? Katydid. Investigating your sock drawer? Katydid. Playing 3,000 rounds of fetch with her beloved ball? Yep—Katydid that too. - She’s mastered “sit” and “touch” and is ready to level up her skills with a family who believes in her potential (and maybe has a pocket full of treats). Obedience training? Let’s do it. Hiking buddy? Sign her up. Personal shadow who follows you into the bathroom? She’s already on her way. - Katydid is 100% heart wrapped in a sleek, shiny black coat. She adores attention, gives affection like it’s her job, and has been quietly placing “Wanted: Forever Family” ads in her head every night before bed. If you are not 100% ready to adopt, please wait** ************** ***IMPORTANT ADOPTION INFORMATION*** -ALL dogs are fostered in TENNESSEE unless otherwise noted -We do transport dogs to the east coast; a transport fee will apply -All dogs are up-to-date on vaccinations, heart-worm testing, monthly preventatives, & are spayed or neutered -Puppies under 6-months of age will require a SPAY/NEUTER CONTRACT, a portion of the adoption fee will be refunded upon documentation of the spay/neuter -An application must be submitted before scheduling an appointment to meet a dog -Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY -Due to the high volume of emails we receive, first priority will be given to those with submitted applications -All rescue work is done by dedicated volunteers, please be respectful of their time -Not able to adopt?
