Meet Maizey, our 8 month old Boxer Mix!A-Maizey Grace! It was grace that saved sweet Maizey from a terrible outcome. Maizey was found on the street crammed into a tiny crate barely able to move. She had no food, no water and panted under the hot sun. She was merely a skeleton surviving on will. Maizey was taken to the shelter where she was assessed, fed and gradually began to regain her strength. Before being rescued, she experienced undeniable pain and anguish. Scared and hungry for sustenance and mercy. Maizey is just 8 months old and still hopes for the best in life.She is a little shy meeting people but quickly warms up and offers her friendship with a smile. Maizey is slowly putting on weight and feeling better. She is starting to play with toys and see joy in the world. This darling little girl is looking for a forever home filled with love, support & compassion. A place where she will always be greeted with open arms and provided with every comfort she could ever want. If you would like to fully restore Maizey’s faith in humanity and have the time & patience to properly raise a puppy, please come meet her.Maizey is spayed, dewormed, microchipped and is up to date with vaccines. Her adoption fee is $500.00, plus $8.50 for the dog license if you are a resident of NYC.Maizey will also get one free exam with one of our participating veterinarians within 30 days of her adoption.If you`d like to meet her please visit, we`re conveniently located in Windsor Terrace, Brooklyn near the F train (Ft Hamilton Pkwy) and the B16 bus.
