My story

I am at Oakland Animal Services in kennel Visiting Room:2Meet Buffy! This fluffy orange beauty recently lost the only home she had known, and has struggled to adjust to the unfamiliar and unsettling environment of shelter life. She's still learning who she can trust and understandably, keeps her guard up when meeting someone new. Her version of saying hello to someone she doesn't know may start with a soft hiss and a swat, but don't be fooled! Offer her a treat and some gentle pets and you will soon discover a sweet and sensitive soul who just wants to be loved.  Buffy would do best in calm, quiet, child- and dog-free environment with cat-experience guardians.
