My story

Max is a young Australian Shepherd mix with a heart full of love—for people! He recently came back to us after being adopted, and while he’s an affectionate, devoted pup with his humans, Max is very clear about one thing: he wants to be your one and only pet. Max has shown us that life with other animals just isn’t for him. He needs a pet-free home where he can feel secure and not overwhelmed by other dogs or cats. Trust us—he has more than enough love, energy, and personality to fill your home all by himself! As a herding breed mix, Max is intelligent, energetic, and thrives on structure and enrichment. He’ll do best with an experienced, active owner who understands the needs of high-drive working breeds and can give him the mental and physical stimulation he craves. Max is truly a wonderful dog in the right environment: loving, loyal, and eager to bond. He just needs a home that gives him the opportunity to shine.
