My story

Say hello to Jordan, who has gentle eyes and a calm presence. Jordan came into the world in March, born right here under our care after her mama, Judy, was brought to the shelter while pregnant. She and her siblings—Jeremiah, Jason, Josie, Jared, Jamie, and Jake—were lucky enough to be raised in the comfort and safety of a loving foster home, where they've grown up knowing kindness from day one. Jordan has always had a more independent and observant nature. While her siblings may dive into the action, Jordan prefers to sit back and quietly watch the world unfold. She isn’t one to demand attention or be the center of the spotlight. Her foster mom lovingly describes her as shy and reserved and Jordan’s happiest in a calm, peaceful environment where she can go at her own pace. Jordan isn’t particularly fond of being held, but with a little patience and a lot of respect for her boundaries, she will reward her person with quiet companionship and the sweet trust that comes when a gentle soul chooses you. She would thrive in a zen-like home—perhaps with a single person, a quiet couple, or a low-key family who understands that not every kitten wants to be the life of the party. A bustling, high-traffic household with constant commotion (and little hands reaching in for snuggles she’s not ready for) just isn’t her vibe. Jordan has been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped and she’s ready to find a forever home that values her for who she is—a quiet spirit with a lot of love to give in her own time and her own way. If you’re looking for a thoughtful, low-key companion who will bloom in a calm and caring home, Jordan might be the perfect match. The shelter is open Tuesdays through Fridays 3:30-6:30pm AND Saturdays & Sundays 1pm-4pm. No appointments are needed during those times. If you are not available during those times, special arrangements for a meet and greet may be able to be arranged by emailing arfcats@bereaanimalrescue.com. Thank you for considering the adoption of a shelter animal in need!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Jordan, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
