My story

Meet Jake – The Life of the Party Wrapped in Black Velvet! 🖤 Jake is a fun-loving, affectionate and totally irresistible kitten who’s ready to bring endless joy and energy into your life! Born in March to his sweet mama, Judy, Jake and his siblings—Jordan, Jeremiah, Jason, Josie, Jared, and Jamie—were lucky enough to be born and raised in a loving foster home where they had all the care and attention they needed to thrive. Jake’s foster mom describes him as an absolute sweetheart who’s full of love and personality. He’s a social butterfly who enjoys being around people and other cats and he’s always up for playtime. Whether he’s chasing a toy, climbing a cat tree, or cuddling up after a long play session, Jake is a kitten who brings both laughter and love to the room. He’s also got that classic kitten combo of: * High energy – Jake is on the move and ready to explore! * Cuddly charm – He’s happy to come in for snuggles once he’s tired out. * Sociability – He thrives with interaction and would likely do great with other friendly pets. Jake has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped, so he’s all set to join his forever family. He would do well in most home environments—especially one where he gets plenty of playtime, attention and companionship. If you’re looking for a kitten who’s equal parts lovebug and goofball, Jake is your guy. He’s ready to leap into your life (and maybe onto your couch!) and bring a whole lot of joy with him. The shelter is open Tuesdays through Fridays 3:30-6:30pm AND Saturdays & Sundays 1pm-4pm. No appointments are needed during those times.
