**Meet Raven Roth!**Raven Roth was surrendered to ACC when her family was moving and could no longer keep her. At just two years old, this stunning black beauty is equal parts sensitive soul and playful pup. She's affectionate and social with people she trusts and absolutely shines when given time to warm up at her own pace. Raven has lived with adults, a child, and another dog-and now she's looking for a patient, experienced adopter who can help her feel safe, supported, and at home.---**My ideal home:**Raven would thrive in a quiet, adult-only home where she can build trust gradually. She needs someone who understands canine body language and can respect her need for space when she's feeling overwhelmed. A predictable routine and a calm environment will help her settle and show off her affectionate, playful side.**Good with kids?**Raven should not live with children under 13. While she was friendly and playful with a child in her previous home, she's shown sensitivity around fast movements, noise, and handling, so we're recommending an adult-only household for her comfort and safety.**Good with other pets?**Raven lived with another dog and has shown friendly, playful behaviors with familiar dogs. With new dogs, she may be shy at first but warms up and even tries to initiate play. However, Raven should **not** live with cats or small animals-she has a known history of chasing, snapping, and biting at them.**Leash manners:**She pulls strongly on leash and can become reactive to small animals or strangers, especially near her home. She'll benefit from a front-clip harness and positive reinforcement training to help reduce barrier frustration and improve focus.**Overall health:**Raven is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for heartworm. She's recovering well after a brief case of kennel cough (CIRDC) and is currently on medication and medical feeding to support her recovery. Her overall prognosis is good!**Behavior determination:****Level 3** - Raven is a high-energy, affectionate dog who needs guidance and training to work through anxiety, fear-based behaviors, and impulse control. With the right support, she has all the ingredients to be a loyal, loving companion.---**Other fun facts:*** She's crate trained and did well in a large crate for up to 6 hours* She knows "sit," "stay," "come," and "lay down"* Raven enjoys bones, balls, enrichment toys, and spending time in the yard* She can be nervous in the car but loves going for walks* She's great at showing affection-when *she's* ready---**Are you the calm, confident guide Raven Roth has been waiting for?**If you're looking for a playful, smart, and sensitive dog who needs a little time to trust and a lot of love to give, Raven might just be your perfect match. Help this misunderstood girl rewrite her story-one slow tail wag at a time. Primary Color: Black Weight: 55 Age: 2yrs 1mths 3wks
