ALL ABOUT ME  Name: Lisa Age: Around 6 Years Old Gender: Female Spayed/Neutered: Yes Breed: Jindo mix Colour: Black Weight: 22kg Microchipped: Yes   MY RESCUE STORY After my previous owner sadly passed away, I found myself alone and confused, eventually ending up in a crowded city pound. With limited space and too many animals in need, I was heartbreakingly placed on the euthanasia list. But just when things felt hopeless, a group of kind-hearted rescuers stepped in and gave me a second chance at life. Now, I’m safe, loved, and waiting for the next beautiful chapter — finding a forever family to call my own.   MY HEALTH Fully vaccinated (5-round series complete) I’ve been spayed and have no known health issues.   MY PERSONALITY I may be a little shy at first, but give me a few tasty treats and a little time, and I’ll warm up to you in no time! Once I feel safe, I become the sweetest cuddle buddy you could ask for. Volunteers and staff lovingly describe me as a little black bear — with my soft, round, and fluffy face, it’s easy to see why! I’m gentle, easygoing, and I don’t guard my food around people or other dogs. I’m just a calm, loving girl looking for someone to share my heart with.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS With People: I may be a little shy at first, but with a gentle voice and a few tasty treats, I warm up quickly. Once I feel safe, I’ll happily let you pet me and quietly enjoy your company. I have a soft, affectionate nature and just need a little patience to show you my loving side — and when I do, I’ll be the sweetest, most loyal cuddle buddy you could ask for.   With Dogs:  I have a calm and easygoing nature when it comes to other dogs. I enjoy saying hello and get along well with the pups at the shelter, but I don’t jump straight into play — I prefer to take my time and do my own thing. Since I’m more on the relaxed side, very energetic or overly pushy dogs can feel overwhelming for me. If another pup is a bit rude or gets in my space, I’m not afraid to gently stand my ground with a growl — it’s just my way of setting boundaries. I never take it further than that. I do best with slow, thoughtful introductions when meeting new dog friends. Oh, and I don’t guard my food — I’m happy to share and keep the peace.   With Cats:  I haven’t met any cats yet, but with a slow and thoughtful introduction, I think I could learn to live peacefully with a feline friend.   ENERGY AND ACTIVITIES I have a nice, balanced energy level — just the right mix of adventure and relaxation! I love spending time outdoors, taking in the sights and smells, but once I’m back inside, I settle down easily and enjoy a calm, cozy rest. Whether we’re out for a walk or lounging at home, I’m happy just being by your side.   TRAINING & HABITS I seem to have plenty of experience walking on leash — I follow my handler’s lead well and walk with a nice, steady pace. While I might get a little excited and pull if something interesting catches my eye, I usually adjust to match my person’s rhythm. I’m a quiet girl who enjoys peaceful walks, and I prefer to do my potty business outdoors like a well-mannered pup.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m looking for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that offers a safe, structured, and calm environment. A family that enjoys spending quality time together indoors & outdoors. A family that can shower me with love and attention.   SPECIAL NOTES I’m a sweet and gentle girl, patiently waiting to find my forever family. Though I’m a little shy at first, I’m friendly and happy to let strangers pet me. Just like a true Jindo, it takes me a bit of time to fully open my heart, but once I do, I’ll be the most loyal and loving companion you could ever wish for. I’m easygoing with other dogs — gentle even when they’re a bit pushy. If a pup becomes too much, I’ll softly growl to kindly ask for my space, but that’s as far as I go. Volunteers and staff often call me a calm teddy bear, and I’m ready to bring that peaceful love into your home. ##2455772##
