My story

This beautiful girl is Lolita! She arrived at the shelter as a lost dog on 7/1, and sadly, no one has come to reclaim her. The volunteers describe Lolita as friendly and sweet though initially a little shy. She warms up quickly with kind words and gentle pets. Lolita did sit nicely when asked, but was too nervous to accept treats. If you have a soft spot for the shy kids, please come meet Lolita! Lolita is approximately 3 years old and weighs 39 lbs. She is UTD on vaccines and did test negative for heartworms. She will be spayed and microchipped upon adoption. Lolita is waiting patiently in run 807; her ID # is 11573. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
