My story

My name is JORDAN but the rescue calls me “THE JOKER” because one side of my face looks like I am smiling and the other side of my face looks seriously serious. I’d like to think they call me “THE JOKER”because I am a prankster. I mean, every time a volunteer walks by my crate at the rescue, I reach my arm out thru the bars and grab onto the volunteers shirt with my paw, pulling them toward me. The volunteer I am pranking always laughs and picks me up in their arms, cradling me like a baby. I try not to purr, but I can’t help it because it feels so cozy swooped up in their arms. It may sound funny but it’s actually a little sad because all I want is to be loved and adored and treated like family. Sometimes, I imagine that the volunteer falls in love with my antics and decides to take me home and make me theirs. You see, my only purpose in life and the only thing I want in the world, is to be adopted and loved. My favorite volunteer always says that one day someone very kind will adopt me. I hope she’s right and that my new fam finds me thru this post and makes me their forever kitty. I promise to fill my adoptive parents lives with all the joy, purrs, meows and mischief they deserve. If you want to adopt JORDAN AKA “THE JOKER” please TEXT (714) 882-9865 or fill out an application at RescueMePets.com/forms
