My story

Big baby puddin snatcher, or Puddin to her friends, is a 2-year-old calico. She’s a small girl weighing only 6 lbs, but there is a lot of love and curiosity in that little body. Before going to her foster home Puddin “adopted” three 7-week-old kittens in the shelter. She’s so gentle with them and has been a great example in their foster home of what it’s like to be a cat. She also has a 7-year-old foster sister that she is a bit skittish around, but has been doing great meeting her in short segments. Puddin likes to keep her eyes on everything, doing laps of the room to make sure she knows where everyone is, coming around for some pets, and then starting it all over again. She will let people pick her up, but it’s not her favorite, she would rather come up to someone sitting and cuddle by their side. Puddin is litter box trained and will let her foster mom brush her. She doesn’t love having her paws touched to get her claws clipped but she’s very brave and lets her foster mom try a few at a time. All adults are combo tested; for some litters of kittens who have not been exposed to other cats, only one kitten in the litter may be tested. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services and helps us continue rescuing animals. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week.
