My story

Meet Snowflake!Snowflake is a female Great Pyrenees mix approximately 8-10 months old. She has a very sweet personality, though she can be a little skittish at times. However, she does love to follow her foster dad around, so being around men is not an issue. Snowflake also loves being around kids, but she doesn`t always realize how big she is and can inadvertently knock things over because of her size. She also likes to use her paw to nudge people when she wants some attention. This could be an issue with small children. She gets along with other dogs after an initial introduction, as she has the Pyrenees guard instinct. She has done fine with the cat at her foster home.Snowflake is extremely smart, and has been very trainable. She catches on very fast when learning new tricks and behaviors. She already knows come, sit and lay. her foster She is crate trained, but it is not her favorite thing. She doesn`t like being in the crate when she first goes into it or if she hears her foster family is still at home, but she is improving. Snowflake is still working on potty training and does well with regular trips outside and supervision. Snowflake would thrive in a home with a large fenced yard that she could patrol. She would be happy as an only dog or with other dogs in the family. She loves people and kids so she would be a great addition to a large family where she can be part of the activity. To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt. It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. We don`t get to all of the inquires but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Snowflake, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
