My story

Meet Bo!Bo is a male pit bull terrier who is approximately 2-3 years old and weighs around 52 pounds. This handsome boy came to us as an owner surrender through no fault of his own.Bo is incredibly affectionate and happy! He walks wonderfully on a leash and has a medium-high energy level—perfect for someone looking for a walking or jogging buddy who also enjoys cuddle time. Bo is dog-friendly, and as always, a meet and greet with any resident dogs is required to ensure a good match.Bo’s compatibility with cats and children is currently unknown. He can be skittish and nervous when he first meets new people, but he warms up quickly once he feels safe. He’s learning that people can be kind, and once he trusts you, he’ll press his body against yours for some love and pets.Bo enjoys running around in our play yards and does a great job of keeping his kennel clean. He is available through our Foster to Adopt program, which means you can foster him in your home until he completes his vetting—including vaccines and heartworm testing.
