My story

Meet Tulip! Tulip is a very handsome 3-year-old grey tabby male with a sweet and gentle personality. He’s one of our special needs cats because he is blind, but that doesn’t slow him down—he navigates his surroundings with confidence and ease. Tulip can live a very normal life like any other cat, though he will thrive best in a calm, consistent home with a few thoughtful accommodations to help him feel secure. Our adoptions staff will be happy to share tips on how to support this special guy. Tulip is very friendly, relaxed, and social. He loves being petted, enjoys treats, and is always happy to soak up your affection in exchange for cuddles and head butts. He is here with Iris who is also visually impaired. Tulip is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and has received preventative treatments to ensure he’s healthy and ready for his forever home. To meet Tulip, visit the Best Friends New York Soho Lifesaving Center at 307 West Broadway, New York, NY, near Canal Street. We're open daily from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm.
