My story

Meet Buster and Renfield! Two spirited one-year-old Domestic Shorthair brothers currently living in Eastland, TX, whose essence is a bundle of playful curiosity and affectionate companionship wrapped in silky coats. These bonded adventurers are living proof that joy often comes in pairs! Buster is a charming brown tabby with an impressive flop routine—when he sees his favorite person, he’ll throw himself onto his back, roll around dramatically, and chatter with giddy excitement, as if narrating tales of his heroic toy hunts. Renfield, a sleek black feline, prefers a more subtle greeting: weaving between your legs with gentle rubs while chirping his welcomes. Adorably hazardous, yes, but who can resist such devotion? Their days are filled with thrilling pursuits, from racing down hallways in an endless game of tag to batting at lattice balls and wrestling with their prized window-mounted rod toy. When their energy softens into contentment, they love nothing more than curling up beside their guardian for movie marathons and cozy naps, their purrs blending into a soothing soundtrack of peace and companionship. Raised in a rural Texas home and currently living with a gentle senior Dachshund, they’ve shown themselves to be friendly with small dogs, even engaging in playtime shenanigans. However, larger dogs remain a mystery to them, and other cats tend to spark nervous hisses before they retreat to safety. New people may be greeted with shyness, but once comfortable, these brothers will talk to you whenever you enter the room, sharing their thoughts with charming feline commentary. Renfield does have a mild flea allergy, so regular flea prevention is key to keeping his sleek coat bump-free and comfortable. Both are neutered, vaccinated and ready to bring their quirky, affectionate hearts into a new loving home.
