My story

Hi there! My name is Rocky, and I’m on the lookout for my furever home with a kind, confident, and experienced owner who understands a guy like me.I’m a house-trained, treat-motivated pup who loves being outside and playing with my toys. I’ve spent time with children ages 4 and 12 years old in my previous home, and did well with them, but I prefer teenage kids who will respect my space. I know how to sit, and with a little training (and plenty of snacks), I’d love to learn even more.A Few Things to Know About Me:No small dogs, please! I prefer the company of larger dogs, and I may not be a good fit for homes with tiny canine companions.I do not like my chin or tail touched.I haven’t met any cats, so slow introductions—or a cat-free home—might be best.I really appreciate a proper introduction if you have other dogs or kids. Please bring them with you when you visit so we can get to know each other in a calm, welcoming way.I’m hoping to find a home that’s patient, loving, and ready to guide me as I continue to grow into my best self.
