Meet Chip - Your Sweet, Loving "Sugar Kitty" Looking for His Forever Home or long term foster.  "The humans call me Chip because I had a little chip in my ear when I was found outside. Soon after, they discovered I was a 'sugar kitty,' which is another way of saying I have diabetes. But don’t worry! My diabetes can be managed with insulin injections twice a day and semiannual veterinary appointments and lab work. Our volunteers can discuss more. I promise, my love is worth the extra care!" Chip is a sweet, affectionate 3 year-old kitty who will win your heart in no time. While he needs a little extra attention for his diabetes, he's otherwise a happy cat who enjoys life to the fullest. PENDING Echocardiogram for enlarged heart 5/27/2025 Chip's Favorites: Toys: He loves cardboard boxes and mouse toys! Sleeping Spot: You’ll often find him napping at the end of your bed, keeping you company while you sleep. Furry Friends: Chip is a big fan of other cats and must go to a home with a feline friend or be adopted with another cat to keep him company. Chip's Preferences: Dogs: Not a fan of dogs, but he’s a social butterfly when it comes to fellow felines. Affection: Chip is loving and enjoys spending time with his humans, making him the perfect companion for a cat-loving family. Health: Age: 3 years Neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped Special Care: Manages diabetes with insulin injections and regular vet check-ups every few months.
