My story

Izzy came in as a gentle cat found outside alone and scared. It's hard to believe that now that she's gotten used to us though. She is an intelligent cat who would run your home! Izzy has a strong personality and isn't afraid to let you know that she doesn't like her things messed up. As a matter of fact, she supervises the volunteers who maintain her kennel each day to make sure her toys are put back where she had them. She's a very funny cat! In reality, she probably keeps an eye on her things because they're all she has. We see this often with cats who have been left outside by their owners. If you do not see this email appear upon submission, please check your "spam" folder. 3. Your application will be processed and a volunteer adoption counselor will call or email with any questions. ** NOTE: If any questions are left unanswered or incomplete, the application cannot be processed. A completely filled out application will take 1-3 days to process! Missing or inaccurate answers may invalidate the application. 4. We will set up a time with you to meet the animal you've applied to adopt! ** NOTE: Our volunteers strive to make the best possible match once the application is accepted. Our goal is a fit that benefits both the cat and the home! ** We DO give preference to applicants with verifiable pet experience. All cats are spayed/neutered, FeLV/FIV negative unless otherwise indicated. All cats are up to date on age appropriate vaccinations. All of our resident cats use their litter boxes unless otherwise indicated. Cats are naturally inclined to use a litter box. Cat Fact: If a domestic cat is not using a litter box THEY ARE TRYING TO TELL YOU SOMETHING IS WRONG! It should never be ignored! Your cat is depending on you for help. Our adoption fee for felines is $100. That covers the cost of spay/neuter, FeLV/FIV test, deworming, flea prevention (if applicable) and vaccinations (if applicable). We look forward to meeting you!
