My story

Meet Lavender! This sweet senior girl is at least 18 years old and has a heartwarming story. Found living under a rock at a local apartment complex, she was fed by kind neighbors and named by children who called her Lavender because she’s gentle, calming, and sweet.When she arrived at animal control, it turned out she was microchipped back in 2007 - proof she was once loved, and still knows how to love. Now in a foster home, Lavender is enjoying all the comfort she deserves.She’s front-declawed, has just four teeth left, and yet her spirit is unshakable. She has received a dental cleaning, full diagnostic bloodwork, and is spayed, current on vaccinations and treated for parasites. Even though she's a senior gal, she's been deemed healthy and still has plenty of life to live. Lavender is cuddly, vocal when she wants affection or snacks, and totally unfazed by new places. Birdwatching is her favorite pastime, and she’ll occasionally play if you convince her.Lavender is great with gentle kids but prefers a home without other cats - she likes the Roomba more than feline roommates. And don’t let her age fool you, she still jumps up for head nuzzles and wherever she thinks food may be.
