My story

Meet Jesse! Jesse has been through a lot, she and her housemates Lilly A097180 and Maggie A216671 ended up at the shelter because their guardian moved into a nursing home. Jesse was a much loved family member and her mom is devastated to have to give her up. Jesse is feeling overwhelmed at the shelter right now and who can blame her? She just lost her mom and her home. Once you gently interact with her, however, she opens up and enjoys the attention and starts to relax and will show her sweet, affectionate side. Jesse loves being petted and brushed and will even roll on to her back so that you can brush her belly! She also enjoys catnip. Jesse has a loving heart, she just needs a patient adopter who will nurture her and help her feel safe and secure so she can blossom into the beautiful loving affectionate kitty that her mom loved so much. Could you be that person? Jesse grew up in an indoor only home without young children or dogs. She would do best in a quieter home without young kids or dogs, but it can depend on the situation. Jesse is ready to love again. Please give her a chance to steal your heart. She will be forever grateful and pay you back with lots of love and purrs. All animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (including rabies if over 4 months old), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. All dogs have been been vaccinated with DHPP and Bordatella (kennel cough) and heartworm tested negative (if over 6 months).    All cats have been vaccinated with FVRCP and current on flea control.
