My story

A4638862 Meet Oreo , a 12-year-old Labrador Retriever / Queensland Heeler mix with a heart as sweet as her name. This cookie-colored senior sports a soft black-and-white coat, a dainty little chest bib, and the cutest white sockies on her petite feet. Though she’s understandably a bit wary in the shelter, Oreo is still perky and alert, and once she feels safe, her gentle curiosity begins to shine through. She’s scared and shut down in the kennel, but with a soft voice, a kind touch, and a little patience, she’ll bloom into a quietly loyal companion for the rest of her years. Once a beloved family dog, she was left behind when they moved - now she’s waiting for someone to give her the love and stability she deserves.
