When Pima came to us, he was in heartbreaking shape—so matted and neglected that we couldn’t even tell if he was a boy or a girl. With love, care, and time, Pima has made an incredible transformation. He’s now clean, comfortable, and healing beautifully after the removal of a severely damaged eye that was causing him pain. Through it all, this sweet poodle mix has never lost his gentle spirit. Pima absolutely loves people and has shown nothing but kindness and trust in his foster home. He’s currently living with young children and other dogs and doing great, but we think he would truly thrive in a quiet home with adults or a calm family—especially one where someone is home often to give him the love and security he deserves. Pima doesn’t ask for much—just a cozy spot, a kind hand, and someone to show him that he’ll never be forgotten again. Pima’s adoption donation includes his age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, neuter, eye enucleation, groom, microchip, collar, leash, and toys. Apply below to adopt Pima. We are a foster-based rescue with foster homes primarily in Goodyear and Buckeye, AZ. Once your application is approved, you will travel to the foster home for your adoption appointment.
