My story

This beautiful girl is Chelsea and she's a 1 year old, 42 pound sweetheart who is so ready to find her forever home! Fully grown, spayed, healthy and crate-trained, Chelsea is the perfect mix of playful and calm. She enjoys zooming around the backyard as much as she loves curling up for long naps in her bed. She has a medium energy level, she's no trouble at all - her Foster Mom works from home and says Chelsea is happy to snooze or hang out quietly nearby. She sleeps through the night in her dog bed and does well in her crate when her Foster Mom needs to leave the house. Chelsea can be a little shy when she first meets you but give her 15-20 minutes and some tasty treats and she'll warm right up to you. She's food motivated and doing great with learning her commands. She's great with other dogs and would love a canine sibling and does well with cats too. She rides perfectly in the car and has a soft spot for crinkle toys and Nylabones. Chelsea will thrive in a calm home with a family who will continue the great support her Foster Mom gives her letting her know she's loved and safe. If you're looking for a quiet, loyal companion with the sweetest heart, Chelsea is your girl! She's totally healthy, up to date on all her vaccines and housebroken. Reach out to Long Road Home (LRHRescue@gmail.com) to get more info on the special girl!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Chelsea, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
