My story

Meet Cooper! This sweet senior gentleman is 16 years young, 15 pounds of love, and ready to spend his golden years snuggled up in a forever home. Cooper came to us after his previous owner was no longer able to care for him, but he’s taken the change in stride and settled into his foster home like a pro. He’s a calm, quiet guy who asks for very little — just a cozy bed, a soft blanket, and someone to tuck him in at night. He’s house trained, perfectly polite, and gets along beautifully with other dogs (big and small!) and even cats. He has no issues with sharing his food, eats dry kibble like a champ, and always perks up for treats. While Cooper tolerates a kennel, his dream setup is a plush bed close to yours. His joints are a bit creaky, so a little help getting on and off furniture is appreciated — but don’t worry, he’ll repay you with heart-melting cuddles. Though his vision may be a little cloudy, he navigates his space just fine and doesn’t let anything slow him down. Cooper is the perfect companion for anyone looking for a laid-back, affectionate pup to share the couch and some quiet moments with.
